If you use a lot of essential oils, you may be interested in buying essential oil in bulk. You might want to purchase essential oil in bulk if you have a business making your own scented soaps or candles, or if you are a massage therapist or an aromatherapy practitioner. Buying essential oil in bulk from a reputable dealer can save you time and money.

Benefits of Essential Oils

The feeling is universal of walking into a new place and being overwhelmed by a fragrant, familiar smell. Scents take us back to earlier times, and scents can embed themselves deeply into our memories.

Massage therapists use the healing powers of essential oils to help relieve the aches and pains of aging or injured muscles and joints. Buying bulk essential oils will enable them to have the right oil on hand for each situation, or to have a variety of oils from which to create special blends.

Practitioners can buy pre-blended aromatherapy essential oil in bulk, so they can spend their time designing therapy plans for their clients rather than blending oils. Choose from among a variety of blends. Anti-viral blends and anti-bacterial blends may contain the essential oils of basil, rosemary, geranium, lemon, spearmint, and peppermint. Other antibacterial blends may also include eucalyptus.

Aphrodesiac Blends

Understandably, there is a great deal of interest in aphrodisiac aromatherapy products. For women, the bulk essential oils in an aphrodisiac blend are clary sage, jasmine, neroli, rose, sandalwood, tangerine, and ylang ylang. For men, the magic aphrodisiac formula is a blend of cedarwood, clary sage, frankincense, jasmine, rosewood, sandalwood, vetiver and Ylang Ylang.

Arthritis Blends

A special formulation of aromatherapy bulk essential oil for treatment of arthritis should include white birch, juniper, marjoram, rosemary, and ginger. As a topical massage oil, peppermint, spearmint and wintergreen oil are especially soothing to arthritic joints.

Chakra Oils

Chakra oils should only be used by skilled and trained practitioners, as it is essential to apply the correct Chakra properties to the proper points. Root Chakra oils containing a blend of myrrh, rosewood and vetiver satisfy the earth element and the tiger’s eye, smoky quartz and hematite minerals. The second chakra contains oils of rose otto and sandalwood, fulfilling the water element and red jasper and ruby minerals.

The third Chakra oil contains pure oils of juniper, neroli, petitgrain and vetiver, with the mineral elements of citrine and yellow jasper. The heart Charka, or fourth Chakra, covers the minerals aventurine and rose quarts and contains oils of bergamot, rose geranium, and jasmine.

Essential oils can change your mood and the way you feel about yourself. Spritzing on an essential oil body spray after you shower or before you walk out the door is a great way to ensure that you will be in a good mood all day long.

When to Use Essential Oil Body Sprays

One of the best times to use an essential oil body spray is during the summertime when you are feeling flushed or over heated. If you commute to work during the summer on public transportation, then you know the feeling. The heat from the outside moves to inside your body, and you feel as if you are never going to cool off. You step off the bus or come up from the subway onto the hot street, and the heat seems to magnify and intensify with every move you make.

Now is the time to pull out your essential oil body spray to cool yourself off. The mist of the spray will cool your skin. Spray it on your pulse points: the insides of your wrists and elbows, the back of your knees, and at your throat. The cool mist will help reduce the temperature of your skin and help to calm you down. A cool scent like cucumber, peppermint, spearmint, or lime will put cool thoughts in your head.

Another great time to use essential oil body sprays is when you are feeling anxious or stressed out. This can happen during any season of the year, when you are work, at home, or with friends. Maybe you are dealing with a difficult person, a hard to please boss, or noisy children. Whatever the reason, tension builds to the point where you feel as if your head is about to explode.

Again, pull out the essential oil body spray and spray your neck and shoulders. The aroma from the essential oils in the body spray will float around your head, face and nose, releasing the full impact of the essential oils into your nostrils and sending the message to your brain that soothing, relaxing help is on the way. Some of the best stress-relieving aromatherapy body spray misters are lavender, chamomile, geranium, sage, spearmint, patchouli, lime, and peppermint.

Finally, you will appreciate the effects of essential oil body sprays when you are overly tired. If you have not gotten enough sleep, or you find that the day has stretched out longer than you anticipated, using a refreshing body oil spray of sweet orange, tangerine, grapefruit, and ginger will wake you right up and leave you feeling rejuvenated and refreshed.

If you have just ventured into the world of aromatherapy then you might not know the proper ways to store your essential oils. When buying essential oils you should make sure that they are packaged in proper essential oil bottles.

If not you will find that essential oils do not have a long shelf life and they will eventually lose any of their smell or power to heal and relax. Other than that, keeping essential oils in the right essential oil bottles is a smart thing to do safety wise. Keeping essential oils in bottles that are not suitable or in unsuitable places could result in a fire.

Bottle Color

The color of your essential oil bottles is a very important factor, as the right colored bottles will help to protect your essential oils from deterioration. Traditionally essential oil bottles were amber in color and some people will tell you that this is the way to go with essential oils.

Recently there has been a trend towards dark blues and greens, and sometimes even violet bottles. You should never buy essential oils in clear bottles or store them in clear bottles. The dark color of your essential oil bottles will help to filter ultra violet rays and preserve your essential oil.

Storage Area

Sunlight is very bad for essential oils and he less they are exposed to sunlight the better. Essential oil bottles should be kept in a cool, dark place. You can even keep your essential oil bottles in the refrigerator. Citrus oils are best kept in the refrigerator, as they are most prone to deterioration through exposure to sunlight.

Some essential oils may solidify when stored below room temperature but this is nothing to worry about. Some of the oils that will do this are Aniseed, Star Anise, Rose Otto and Fennel; simply let these essential oils stand at room temperature before you want to use them and they should return to liquid form. You can also warm them up by rolling them between you palms.

Beware: Danger

Essential oil bottles should never be exposed to heat or a direct flame. This is because essential oils are extremely flammable. Exposing essential oil bottles to candles, cookers or any type of naked flame could lead to an unfortunate accident. You should also never put unadulterated essential oils into plastic containers. Pure essential oils can melt plastic, however when mixed with a carrier oil this is not a danger.

Essential oils are concentrated, hydrophobic liquids that contain volatile aroma compounds from plants. They are exclusively made from botanical matter and they are typically extracted from plant matter via a process known as steam distillation. They vary widely in terms of offerings and price, and the aromatherapeutic effects of these oils can be administered in a variety of ways.

Essential oils are created to help bring oxygen and nutrients to the tissues of the body while at the same time assisting to remove carbon dioxide and other waste products that are produced by cell metabolism.

Aromatherapy Accessories

There are a number of different aromatherapy accessories available that you can purchase and which will help you to make the most of your aromatherapy experiences. Essential oil carrying cases are particularly popular, as they give you a way to store your essential oils where they will not spill, soil, or get lost.

If you are interested in buying your own essential oil carrying cases there are a few companies in particular that you will want to check out. One is Natures Gift, which offers an array of aromatherapy accessories and besides their essential oil carrying cases this includes aromalamps, tea candles, diffusers, and even aromatherapy jewelry and essendulums.

Abundant Health is another option here, and they sell essential oil carrying cases as well as an array of diffuser carrying cases. Besides this their selection includes essential oil charts, marketing tools, diffusers, massage tools and devices, health tools, essential oil cards, and various aromatherapy gifts.

Besides essential oil carrying cases you may want to supply yourself with other aromatherapy accessories, such as a diffuser. This is a device which is used to help disperse the molecules into the air and which as a result enables the body to use them as you breathe in the wonderful aromas. There are actually several different styles of diffusers available, the most common being the atomizer.

Atomizers work by using a small pump and specialized glass to disperse molecules into the air in a fine mist, and should only be used for a few minutes at a time. They are great for treating ailments where the air must be very concentrated with essential oils and they are very powerful tools.

Aromatherapy offers some fantastic benefits and it is a very safe and all natural alternative to the more conventional methods of treatment that are typically used. By supplying yourself with the proper tools and accessories you will be able to make the most of your aromatherapy experiences and receive the effects that you are looking for.

If you are looking to buy essential oil diffusers you would be amazed at the variety and prices that are available in the market. Hopefully you know what you are looking for; and if so it would be easy for you to just search for it, find it whether this is online or offline and buy it. However, if you are undecided about what you need, searching for the essential oil diffusers would take not only some time but also quite some effort.

The Different Types of Oil Diffusers

For the novice, there is plenty to learn before you decide on which type of essential oil diffusers would suit you best. The best place to start you education is the Internet Google the wide variety of diffusers available. Are you puzzled about their uses and application? Check out the brief description of a few popular ones right here.

The fan diffuser has a tiny chamber or pad in the middle where the essential oil (a few drops) would be added dissolved in water 1:20 ratio. The fragrance should immediately jump into the air owing to a little fan that blow air through the chamber or pad. This is best for those who are scared about burning the house down with the regular tiny lighted candle.

Another essential oil diffuser which uses no heat is the nebulizing diffuser. As the name indicates, this diffuser works exactly as a nebulizer, i.e. it has air pumped through the chamber which is full with your favorite essence or fragrance. The nebulizers have the ability to be programmed (timed) so they would be off whenever you wanted. This method too, needs no external heat.

The tea candle diffuser is one of the most popular and in demand essential oil diffusers because these are the simplest to use and are extremely effective at the end of the day. Here you would be required to fill a small container with water and fragrance on which you would launch your tea candle which in turn would vaporize the essence filling the whole area with your favorite fragrance.

For cars, you have car diffusers which need to be plugged in the car cigarette lighter place for an almost instantaneous burst of beautiful smell. Traveling does not mean that you should be parted from your favorite aroma or smell. You also have the diffuser pot whereby you would need to add essential oil to this glazed side of the pot after which you would find that aroma is immediately picked up and disseminated without the use of any heat.

Once you understand the use of each of these, it would be easy for you to buy the diffuser that suits you best as the aroma therapy is here to stay.

If you have a business making beauty products or like to use aromatherapy for you and your family, you know how important it is to find a good essential oil outlet. Unfortunately, you can’t just drive out to the local outlet store strip mall and stock up on whatever they have. Fortunately, you can shop an essential oil outlet from the comfort of your own home through the Internet.

References

If you are connected to others in holistic medicine, the aromatherapy business or in making their own scented crafts, you can ask them for recommendations as to what essential oil outlet to use. You can also cruise any forums or chat rooms on web sites devoted to these topics. You need to see if not only the prices are right, but how often they can get a hold of new stock.

Stay Safe

Although you are looking for the best prices and selection and shipping rates that you can find, you also need to keep alert to stay safe. Just keep your common sense and keep updating the latest version of your computer security software. Usually, these updates will be automatic, but check to be sure. You need a firewall, an anti-virus program, anti-spyware program and a spam filter for your email.

When you click onto a prospective essential oil outlet website, you need to see that it has a Privacy Policy and customer service contact information. You should be able to use the customer service contact information without having to purchase anything. You might also want to give their phone number a quick ring (if they list a phone number), just to see who picks up the phone.

Don’t Put Your Eggs All In One Basket

It is best if you can find two or three essential oil outlets rather than depend entirely on one essential oil outlet. In this way, you are assured of a source of your needed oils if one business can’t get them to you in time or in the desired quantity. It is also good to compare what you’re paying at one essential oil outlet to what other outlets offer to be sure you are paying a fair price.

Try to make products or crafts with more versatile, less expensive oils like lavender or tea tree rather than incredibly expensive, fickle resources like red roses or frankincense. You should be able to get a lot of advice on what oils to substitute for any other oil from the customer service department at your chosen essential oil outlet.

Hard wood floors are not only gorgeous, they need regular special care. Unlike many other kinds of flooring, hard wood floors are not so forgiving to normal wear and tear. They can warp in humidity, become chipped by dog toenails and rot because of water damage. But regular cleaning can keep it strong and protected. A mix of your hard wood floor cleaner and essential oils can help your floors look and smell great.

Not Just The Oil, Please

You never want to use only essential oil as a floor cleaner. Not only is this fabulously expensive, many oils can also be far too powerful for hard wood floors. Essential oils like cinnamon can also stain your floors permanently, or strip any finish off. You shouldn’t use cinnamon oil as furniture cleaner, anyway, but that’s just an example.

Only some kinds of essential oils will work well mixed with hard wood floor cleaners. You really need to do your research before you just randomly mix and match hard wood floor cleaners and essential oils. That’s a great way to destroy your floors. Go to an aromatherapy web site or book to check up on all of the properties of the essential oils you have in your home. When in doubt, leave it out.

That Smells Fresh

Some relatively inexpensive essential oils that you can mix with hard wood floor cleaners or just about any kind of hard furniture cleaner, for that matter are the citrus fruit group. This includes lemon, lime and orange. These are not only some of the most common essential oils on store shelves, but they also have natural antiseptic and antibacterial properties.

Hard wood floor cleaners also like essential oils of lavender and tea tree. Some people claim rosemary makes a great cleaner, but this writer finds the smell far too overpowering. Rosemary is also a much more expensive oil to put on your floors or other pieces of hard furniture.

All you need to do to make hard wood floor cleaner and essential oil mix is to add about fifteen to twenty drops of your chosen oil to a gallon bucket of hot water and hard wood cleaner. You might want to take a very small amount and do a test patch on your hard wood floor first to see that they are compatible.

A long time ago, people did floor washes. This isn’t needed in modern flooring, but can really help get rid of any extra residue and help give your room the desired scent. Put fifteen to twenty drops into a gallon of warm water and mop.
